Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, reaching 424,000 sold copies in its first week of release. This made it the groups fifth-straight studio set to open with a sales week of at least 400,000 copies. My favorite songs are "Grux", "Shake Me Like a Monkey", and "Funny the Way It Is". Other new songs are "Lying in the Hands of God", "Why I Am", "Dive In", "Spaceman", "Squirm", "Alligator Pie", "Seven", "Time Bomb", "Baby Blue", and "You and Me".

This new album is from Mariah Carey. According to her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel will possibly release on September 18, 2009. It is not declared whether it would be a worldwide or just a European release. There are surely tons of great music artists who will contribute in this most-awaited album from the American singer and song-writer.

At this moment, Mariah has just come back from Turkey after having a 2009 live concert in that country. This time she will continue hitting the studio to beat the deadline for her new album.

These are some of her words for her new album for 2009 - "It's basically every song tells its own little story for some people to relate to. I feel it's for everybody but in a lot of ways some of the songs are very woman empowerment moment." Sounds good right? Well, I hope it becomes a massive hit! It's lead single entitled "Boom Boom Pow" was released last March 10 which has reached the number one on different hit charts like United States Hot 100 and Pop 100. In a Perfect World Album was originally slated for release in 2007 but was pushed back multiple time into 2009. It was released last March 24, 2009 and reached the Billboard 200 #4 on April 11, 2009.
