We are going back a few decades today to finally arrive in the 1990s and the 1980s. Enjoy these smaller blogs which are specialised in disco and pop music from that time:

Der Likedeeler

Der Likedeeler is a politically inspired German written music blog. I have sympathy with their idea of mixing politics with music. I think that initiatives such as these should be undertaken more often.

Anyways, what to expect? Well, as you might have guessed already from the image above, Der Likedeeler is active on the left side of the political spectrum . Hence, expect a lot of alternative tunes. I saw The Residents (Avant), Mary Fahl (Celtic and Folk), Zurück zum Beton (German Punk) and Les Rita Mitsouko (French alternative Rock). In other words, pretty multi-disciplinary with an alternative edge. Not bad, not bad at all! Have a look and check it out!

Its Free Music

The owner of Its Free Music left me a notice some hours ago and responded to my request for more Bollywood blogs. Well, I got what I wanted. Although Its Free Music does not look like your average blog (it looks more professional than that), it sure looks good. The site is divided into five sections:

1. Bollywood Music
2. Featured
3. Indian Pop Music
4. Pakistani Music
5. Punjabi Music

Although the site looks relatively new, I think (and hope) we can expect a lot from it in the future. Keep this one bookmarked!

Vita & Sasa Ft. Purple/ Black 80s Disco Music

Vita & Sasa Ft. Purple/ Black 80s Disco Music or simply vita80s is specialised in bringing the memories of the 1980s back. Expect to find Blondie, a love for Depeche Mode (I acknowledge I like them too), Eurythmics (of course) and a lot of mixes for good old memory sake. Follow the link and go back 25 years (how time flies!).

Electro and House Update

Time for some house/ electro/ minimal blogs now. These are all well worth a visit, carefully selected personally. Enjoy!

• Worldmusiky - Is a blog which aims to bring the best of the world of electronic/techno music together. Expect the best of electro from around the world.
  
• House-Musique - Your house haven for everything between Paul van Dyk and Felix Da Housecat. House-Musique also promotes young talented DJs by uploading their mixes. In other words, well worth a visit.
• Beat-Junkies - I should have introduced you probably earlier already to this blog. A TIP no doubt for all those that call them beat-junkies. Lots of updates, nice lay-out and a great variety of house beats. No doubt well recommended for all the fans of this genre.
• Electro Station - A good blog for all you electro and house fans. What to expect? Electro House, Progressive House and a lot more of Electro House. Nice and simple lay-out with very regular updates. Good stuff.
  
• Feeling mnml - A wordpress blog which is specialised in Minimal or as the blog description says itself a place "where minimal music comes to play".

Bollywood!

There is a not a lot of Bollywood music on this blog (yet). I decided to change this to also please my Indian visitors and hope that others are willing/ brave enough to try something else. Please do not hesitate to drop me a line when you got your own Bollywood/ Hindi music blog.

Kokskalle Rumpelkammer

Kokskalle Rumpelkammer Rumpelkammer is a pretty cool new site, doing all kinds of music. Expect Ska, Punk, Hip Hop, Electronica, Reggae and even some Metal. Despite the fact that the Blog's language is in German and (my knowlegde of that language being limited) I think it is still worthwhile to give Kokskalle a chance and browse through their multi-disciplinary music genres.
