For the love of Harry

I don't know if everybody here knows Harry Nilsson, but if you don't please try this blog. For the love of Harry is a blog dedicated to the brilliant Harry Nilsson. Harry Edward Nilsson was an American songwriter, singer, pianist, and guitarist who achieved the height of his fame during the 1960s and 1970s in the Rock, Pop and Rock and Roll genres. The rest you should check out yourself. Well worth a short visit, you might learn something out of it!

Stop Link

Stop Link is a pretty big site. You can find here everything and nothing. Expect especially a lot of commercial and mainstream music here. The updates are irregular, but the posts come in big batches. If you have enough/ too much time on your hands, go ahead and have a look.

MuSiC Is WhaT We AiM FoR

MuSiC Is WhaT We AiM FoR provides you with Anberlin (Alternative rock), Army of Freshmen (Pop Punk), Coldplay (no description needed), This Beautiful Republic (Punk/Emo) among other alt. inspired music. The blog is perhaps best to be described as partly pop punk with Emoish influences and an overall alternative contemporay vibe to it. Not that bad really. Try it out!

More Zappa

"The whole Universe is a large joke. Everything in the Universe are just subdivisions of this joke. So why take anything too serious?" (Zappa)

Another site worth checking out for fans of the Zappa phenomenon is Planeta Zappa. A cool blog with again a lot of information (in Spanish) on Frank. Also Zapping your Eyes seems an interesting place for more information and video clips of Z (again in Spanish). Finally, Peaches En Regalia is worth checking out (English) and has a lot of collected articles on Z.

Studio z

You either love him or you hate him. The Enfant Terrible of the progressive music industry in the 1980s. I am of course talkin gabout Frank Zappa! On Studio z you cannot only find more information about the Z phenomenon, but also a massive amont of Z's music. Well recommended for all fans!

Front of the Queue is a well recommended blog which does post-hardcore (Fugazi), Future Pop (Seabound), Trip Hop (Morcheeba) and other progressive and alterantive genres and styles (Dresden Dolls, Oasis, Weezer, etc). The posts seem to come in batches of different albums from the same groups, which allows you to quickly collect entire discographies fast and easy. In other words a well recommended blog!

Tripoptico Bloggazine
