The Breeders - Coming to Amoeba in San Francisco - FREE!

Kim Deal of the Pixies and Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses formed The Breeders in Boston in 1988. Over some seriously tumultuous years for Kelley Deal and the group in general they are back supporting another album called Mountain Battles, out April 8th. Check out the Rolling Stone review...This is their first album to be released since 2002's Title TK and the current line-up includes Kim Deal (vocals and guitar), her twin sister Kelley Deal (vocals and guitar), José Medeles (drums), and Mando Lopez (bass). Missing are the original Breeders friends Tanya Donelly (then of Throwing Muses, later of Belly), Josephine Wiggs, bassist for the British band the Perfect Disaster, and violinist Carrie Bradley.
